Ming Xian Fan, Consultant

Ming Xian Fan earned a Ph.D. in Soil and Fertilizer Sciences from McGill University, Canada and is responsible for agricultural and fertilizer technology research, extension, and other market development related projects. Before coming to TSI in 1997, he was a Professor and Research Scientist in both China and Canada for 10 years and concentrated on soil fertility and fertilizer technologies. Dr. Fan is a member of the Canadian Society of Soil Sciences and the Soil Science Society of America. He maintains close relationships with Chinese government agencies, associations and the industry. Dr. Fan is fluent in Mandarin. Dr. Fan oversees TSI’s program activities in China and works closely with our Chinese membership. Dr. Fan resides in Beijing, China.
