Environment, Health and Safety
Jason Ray, Savage Services Corporation, illustrates how TSI's Road Transportation Task Group adds value to safe and efficient movement of sulphur for his company. |
Mission:
To monitor, share, evaluate, address, and expand knowledge about environment, health, and safety issues impacting sulphur operations, logistics, handling, and storage; members work proactively to plan for addressing changes; and improve global practices through information sharing.
This is a new proactive program with “inside the gate” emphasis on processes, personnel, and environment, led by member company professionals engaged in environment, health and safety. The program provides for an interactive forum where companies share practices and knowledge on sulphur handling and operations, with “hands on” emphasis as well as identify and address current issues of common interest to the members. In addition, offers a channel for communications with regulatory agencies, non-government groups, industry stakeholders, and allied industry associations to address issues of concern.
