Mission:

To maintain and provide information that can serve and educate stakehoders and others on key targeted areas of sulphur advocacy and respond to potentially detrimental misinformation regarding sulphur, its origin, transportation, handling, long-term storage and uses.

TSI has wide-ranging experience and information on all aspects of the industry. From information including production, consuming industries, potential markets, and transportation, logistics, and handling, TSI is a valuable resource to the general public, the industry, and its member companies. Cultivating market opportunities for sulphur are important for industry growth and sustainability and TSI is a repository of information on new market applications including sulphur construction materials and agricultural applications.

Government agencies responding to concerns of general public and/or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) may promulgate regulations or legislation contrary to best short- and long- term interests of the public and sulphur industry. TSI provides targeted information and communications to stakeholders and addresses specific sulphur-related issues generated by government entities and the general public in order that resulting actions are based on an informed position for the best interests of all parties.

TSI provides the vehicle for its members to benefit collectively from and disburse the shared body of knowledge within the membership. Member companies receive updates on TSI program activities supplemented by periodic communications on topical industry events and issues that may impact our markets and our public image.
