Mason Hamilton

Mason Hamilton is the Vice President of Economics and Research at the American Petroleum Institute (API). Mason leads API’s strategy for analysis of energy markets and policy, managing API’s energy markets and policy analysis teams, and communicates to policy makers, media, and the public on energy markets. Mason is a recognized expert in energy market data and the petroleum supply chain.
Prior to joining API, Mason served as Special Assistant to the Secretary General of the International Energy Forum, the world’s largest organization of energy ministers, where he led IEF’s strategy on analysis and engagement. He also previously served as Senior Economic and Policy Advisor within the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Oil and Gas. Mason also served as a Lead Petroleum Markets Analyst at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and was a lead contributor to the EIA’s flagship analysis products This Week in Petroleum, and Today in Energy.
Mason is the recipient of the Secretary of Energy Achievement Award, holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in energy policy, and a BA in political science.

Dr. Peter Harrisson

Dr. Peter Harrisson has worked on CRU’s Sulphur and Sulphuric Acid analysis since joining the company in early 2011 and is Head of the Sulphur team. He also works across other nutrient areas, including both market and cost analysis. Prior to joining CRU, Dr Harrisson completed a PhD in Industrial Chemistry at Durham University.

He has 30 years international mining experience, having worked with BHP, Rio Tinto and Newmont, and several junior mining companies.

Rene earned his Bachelor and PHD in Chemical engineering from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Brian Arnall
Professor of Soil Chemistry
Oklahoma State University
Dr. Brian Arnall is a precision nutrient management extension specialist for Oklahoma State University. Dr. Arnall's extension, teaching, and research efforts are focused on precision technologies and nutrient management in all of Oklahoma's cropping systems with an emphasis in site specific techniques. He works closely with extension educators and industry personnel to improve nutrient management practices that will lead to increased profitability of producers. Dr. Arnall has been involved in sensor based technologies, remote sensing and variable rate application for more than ten years. Brian has more than 50 refereed journal pubs, more than 50 successful grants with total funds exceeding $2.5 million for his project. He has given 600+ talks in 7 countries. His program has produced 35 apps across iOS and Andriod platforms. His work focuses on providing information and tools to producers that will lead to improved nutrient management practices and increased profitability of Oklahoma production agriculture. Dr. Arnall received his doctorate in soil science from Oklahoma State University in 2008. He has served as an extension specialist since the completion of his studies. He teaches courses on Soil Nutrient Management and Precision Ag at Oklahoma State.
Dr. Eve-Lyn Hinckley
Associate Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Fellow of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences

Eve-Lyn Hinckley is an Associate Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Fellow of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her research focuses on studying the elements that underlie all life on Earth, with an emphasis on how they are changed by human activities and how those changes feed back to affect human welfare. Dr. Hinckley earned her Ph.D. in Geological and Environmental Sciences from Stanford University, and B.A. in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College. Her research on modern changes to the global sulfur cycle is supported by multiple funding agencies, including the prestigious CAREER program through The U.S. National Science Foundation, a grant from U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the National Geographic Society. Dr. Hinckley has been recognized as a University of Colorado Research & Innovation Office Faculty Fellow and Arts & Sciences Support of Education Through Technology Teaching Fellow.
Dr. Jeff Schoenau
Professor of Soil Science and the Ministry of Agriculture Strategic Research Program Chair in Soil Nutrient Management

Jeff Schoenau is a professor of soil science and the Ministry of Agriculture Strategic Research Program Chair in Soil Nutrient Management at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S). He earned his bachelor of science in agriculture at the U of S, where he also completed his PhD in soil science in 1988. In addition to his work at the university, Schoenau and his wife Lynn own and operate a grain farm near Central Butte, SK.
The grain farm has provided him with extensive practical experience. Over the years, it has served as a valuable research site for many of his students and colleagues, supporting field research and providing soil samples for various experiments. He has brought graduate students to the farm to demonstrate soil conservation management techniques and facilitates hands-on learning by having students collect soil samples to study organic matter content and its changes across different land management practices.
