NOTE: The Sulphur Institute does not use third party hotel housing companies to assist delegates with booking rooms. These companies do not represent the hotel, TSI or the Sulphur World Symposium, may not be able to guarantee you a hotel room, or may not honor their quoted room rate.

Don't be alarmed! Unless coming from The Sulphur Institute, any phone calls or emails indicating that hotel rooms are scarce or filling up should be directed to Sarah Amirie, who will personally assist you with booking a room if needed.

Please Stay at Our Host Hotel, the Loews Chicago Hotel

We know that you value your hotel travel points. TSI still encourages you to stay at the symposium property. Here is why:

• Delegates can always be found in the hotel lobby and public areas, so your chances for an impromptu meeting or meal together increase.
• No need to spend time traveling between hotels. You can sleep as late as possible, get ready, and take the lift down to the symposium.
• Your room is right upstairs if you need privacy.
• Take advantage of some extra time to return phone calls and emails.
• You will never be late for an event.
• You help keep TSI's costs manageable. And yours. TSI has contractual commitments for hotel rooms which allows TSI to offer delegates discounted room rates and lower the costs of executing the program. Not satisfying our occupied sleeping room requirement can cost TSI thousands of dollars in penalties.

Airports

Chicago O'Hare (ORD) ) is the closest international airport and is located approximately 16 miles (25 km) from the Loews Chicago Hotel.

Midway Airport (MDW), an alternative for domestic travel, is 10 miles (16 km) from the Loews Chicago Hotel.
